Meet Zuze. Duh.
(Her name is pronounced similarly to "Zeus", fyi.)
To get myself back to sewing, I bought a pattern I liked off Etsy, and me being me, I looked at it and thought: „Hmm, I kinda don't like this here. Gotta change that. Oh wait, the artist uses a technique I don't want to use, so let's change this here like that so I'm more comfortable with it. The shape of this could be improved, couldn't it? Let's improve it, then.“ The end product doesn't have to do a lot with the original pattern anymore, but I'm pleased with it.
The main body is mohair, the paw pads, nose and inner ears are a very short faux fur. The wings are made of organza (Something I most probably won't be doing again) and brought in shape with wire. The eyes and the talons on the wings are made of glass, the former of which I painted with acrylics. The earrings are bought, the little heart on her abdomen is made of felt. The limbs and the head are all button jointed and can be turned 360°.
