My very, very late Christmas gift to my beloved *Esktasy

It's her gryphon character Boreas. This little guy was a pain to make, albeit in a positive way. I never before tried to make a face out of polymer clay and although it needed loooooots of polymer clay and four goddamn trials, I'm pretty pleased with it.
The feathers on the wings are goose feathers of which my workplace is still full 8D I used fleece for the body, which is actually not made from my pattern, but the great cat pattern of the talented

Why bother to make one yourself when there is a perfect one available for free o,o? The black dots are acrylic paint, as are the colours in the face. The claws are polymer clay, too, painted with acrylic paint and wrapped in fleece.
Making this shot was such fun. I came home from school early and very irritated, but then I saw this brilliant late morning mountain light outside and did a number of photographs. The janitor saw me carrying Boreas around, opened his mouth, closed it, and then grinned broadly.
Unfortunately, he's a bit top heavy, but you would be, too, if your face were made of polymer clay
